After finishing imotekh's outline, I'm pretty optimistic about how it'll turn out! I definitely underestimated the amount of detail on their cape though, that'll demand a bit of time I fear lol. All the green bits are done a great service by being etched though, they really catch the light!

Been a while since I've etched last, so I figured I'd take a break from the charmers trap to try something new! I'll be trying imotekh the storm lord this time around, my first magic etching :) the background details look fun to trace, and I'm excited to see how magic foiling handles

Think I'm gonna go with this next! Gonna try and differentiate the different textures as much as possible. Should be fun!

And it's finished!!! Unbelievably proud of this one. All the background layers of this card just seem to play off each other really well. The only thing I might still add is a slightly thicker outline #yugioh #cardalter #purrely

I apparently never posted the unetched version, but here's what I've got on my next project! Loooots of little elements to outline, but they're almost done! The textures shouldn't be much of a problem. The only thing I'm iffy on is whether or not to etch anything into the foily wings

Here's my recent brews for genesys! decided to go back to trickstar to supplement ogdo's 4 axis stuff, and have since had much more success with it. white forest has been fun too, but goddamn that mst matchup is rough lol. purrely is kinda still in the testing phase #yugioh #genesysformat

And it's more or less done! I had a bunch of fun with this, and it turned out really pretty 🩵 The small circles worked out really well! Nothing in particular feels overwhelming or obscured, and noir herself really pops. I might still go back and do the borders, but we'll see #yugioh

Got the outlines done! I'm thinking I might roll with the tiny circles and expand that texture out, but we'll see next time I look at it :)

And it's done!!! I think the windy effect I went with works with motion in a pretty cool way, though I do wish it drew a bit more attention to the head. I think I can confidently say the pretty dragon has been made prettier >:3

Got all the outlines done! They're kind of the star of the show here too. Everything else is gonna be done for the sake of showing them off, so it should be smooth sailing from here! There are some spots on the dragon where I MIGHT add more texture, but we'll see how the background turns out first

Aaaaand she's finished!!!! The bars don't play as big a role as I thought they would, but they do spice up the texture I used for the background. I also left the outlined objects untextured, since i figured they might not pop as much as they do now. I'm really, really happy with this one :)

Got most of the background elements etched too! I think they're coming along pretty well, but it's still looking a little chaotic without the bars behind her etched as well. I think they'll tie it together really nicely

Got the outline done on magnificat! She looks great so far and im pumped to see how the rest goes. My line smoothness was good everywhere but the ribbons here 💀

Finished the background and etched the card elements, and now she's done!! VERY happy with how this one turned out. The petals here turned out much better than the ones on pinguicula, and im really happy with the buppy texture too #yugioh
