Caitlin Clark declining the NBA 3-pt contest because she "wants her first 3-pt contest to be at WNBA All-Star” is really significant imo. Shows that the women’s league is prestigious enough & she doesn’t need an NBA audience to affirm her skill (I’d argue the NBA needs CC more than she needs them).

It would be fantastic if major federal institutions would acknowledge that the executive branch cannot legally unilaterally cancel or redistribute congressionally appropriated funding on ideological grounds and thus they have no legal obligation to comply with such directives
