Spectacular plankton sampling days, especially in Feb.

A talk by Hannah Lloyd-Hartley to the Natural History Society of Northumbria, "Zooplankton of the Northumberland Coast: Importance and Monitoring". This was showcasing the key role of zooplankton, some of the species found in the local area and why monitoring and mitigation are needed.

Planktonic gastropods use their 'foot' to swim. Essentially using them as 'wings'.

A stage 2 lobster larvae rarely makes an appearance in the Dove Time Series. It's good to see them especially in this good condition.
