(2/2) Some people thought his appearance could be from being in stasis for so long. I’ve since learned that’s not how stasis works, but I already had the idea drawn out 😆 Maybe he wasn’t fed well on the ARK?

Months have passed and Maddie marks their heights again. With food, love, and healing Shadow had grown and put on healthy weight and grown a few inches taller than Sonic. Shadow smiles smugly at Sonic, who is bewildered. Maddie, Shadow, and Sonic talk. Sonic says “Maddie, there’s something wrong with the chalk! Do it over again!” Maddie replies, amused “Sonic there’s nothing wrong with the chalk-“ Shadow interrupts her, smugly replying “You’re just mad that you’re short!”
