I'm guessing that when Trump loses and slowly fades from relevance both nationally and in the GOP, some of the ~15% of first-time voters that he was able to get off the couch will go back to not voting. His weird brand of "charisma" is what is turning out these large numbers of voters.

More broadly, this is why conspiracy theories (of any kind) are able to take hold so easily. It takes a lot longer to learn how things really work than it does to read a tweet filled with lies and decide that it's true because some famous person amplified it.
