Many years ago I wrote a book called “Understanding Drumset Mechanics”. Modern Drummer published an excerpt.
I was revisiting some of the examples and this popped into my head. It looks simple on paper, but maintaining the left foot in a consistent pattern over changing patterns is challenging.

Slight reconfiguration of the live playing room in my house.
Had enough left over rack stuff to build a mini-rack which holds pads that feed into v-drums and into Logic Pro.
Need to dig a few more pads out of storage but I kinda like it🙏
