One of my favorite pieces. I thought it turned out beautifully. Reclaimed wood, porcelain cube, stoneware cube (pit fired), and two miniature freight skids made of new/used wood. Approx. 22"x28"

The process of ceramic decaling is fascinating. Images printed with ink high in iron oxide are attached to glazed pieces and fired. The firing impregnates the oxide right into the glaze, making it permanent. These are just a few of my pieces.
