I'm an Arizona based metal artist that enjoys hiking and travel. I spend half the year in Spain and the other half in the US.
El Toro Bravo. You can't help but be inspired when in Spain. This is a small version of what I want to build life-sized.

Went on a little "field trip" today to Alicante city center to do some research on a new metal sculpture of El Bravo Toro.

One of my first metal sculptures. Made of nuts, bolts, bike chain & wire. I worked with Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas. Each year Cirque employees could participate in an art gallery. It was the catalyst that encouraged me to create more metal sculpture. What was your catalyst for creativity?

I went through a short robot phase and this was the first of three ideas that I actually built. This is Otis looking at a butterfly. Back in 2017, I walked 113 miles of the John Muir Trail. Get the full story on my website, www. ArtfullyRogue.com

Wrapped up an abstract stainless wall sculpture just before I left for Spain. Hoping to do more like this and possibly incorporate water and fire in the next creation. youtu.be/V6k-DTXmVTk

Creating water features is also a bit of a passion. Water is such a powerful element. It's the tranquility that I seek when designing and building a water feature.

The world is full of beauty. This is inside the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain. The architecture alone is inspirational, Antonio Gaudi played a huge role in many of the design elements. The massive columns represent trees and their arching branches.

My first "reclaimed" metal sculpture of a life-sized horse head for a client. There was something so amazing about feeling the shape. Closing my eyes and placing my hands on the jaws and truly feeling the shape.

I am working on a new piece here in Spain that's inspired by a visit to the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. There's a stone carving on the back side of the Sagrada Familia and I thought it would be cool to see it done in metal.

With wide spread negativity trying to dominate every aspect of the day, I've found some peace in listening to Rick Rubin. youtu.be/SfWs4d2-pH0?...

The Reading Rhino was a commission for the Peoria Arizona Public Library. It's time to get back up there and check it out and see how it's going.
