...and adjacent to the fwy, the military base and the flight path is the San Onofre nuclear power plant which stores 1610 metric tons of nuclear waste onsite. All within a few miles of where millions of people live in San Diego and Orange County (including my family).

Pic of Comet Hyakutake I took (on film) with my dad in 1996. He passed in 2017. Brings back great memories of him and I freezing behind my 8" telescope in Anza-Borrego Desert all night. (this is a recent cell phone pic of the original paper print)
