If the aim is goal prevention, which is kinda important for a backline, I would agree but as we are also looking at Alfie’s ability to advance the ball forward, which could be very useful, I am excited to see what he might add.

Thanks for asking about January (or thank whomever asked the question) given the number of MLS (and maybe one Liga MX) players for Canada the benefit seems very obvious to me.

The article says Portugal and Belgium are the two invitees for the USMNT come March. We probably won’t know our dance partners until after the draw.
