Remembrance Day in most of the free world, now including Ukraine.

It's also the 3rd anniversary of the liberation of Kherson.
Back then it was Day 261 of Russia's full invasion, and this is one of the joyous videos I published on (pre-Musk) Twitter.

1. What’s wrong with “united Europe that guarantees international law”?

2. The USA doesn’t spend 5% on defence and you can bet that the majority of NATO countries that agreed to 5% won’t spend that much either. I think Sanchez was being honest (maybe unavoidably, given left wing coalition partners)

I’m starting to wonder if it is a deliberate policy of Moscow, to send its soldiers to almost certain death, because they don’t want them back in Russia causing trouble and claiming pensions. If they can capture a bit more territory for Moscow before pushing up sunflowers, so much the better.
