Yes it is, but honestly, when I listen to recordings I made with the D-18, and I remember how it was as light as a good violin, I wish I had kept it. Maybe sometime I can tell you how it was that I gave that one up. Oh, guitars we have known and loved, right?

Had a Guild like that years ago and in a moment of dumb convenience [needed a guitar with a good pickup] I traded it for an Ovation. Even! Never liked that guitar. Got a good D-18 and now have a Martin J40.
