The Stone Roses certainly defined a certain time and a place and a style.

Some genuinely chilling moments in Pluribus episode 1 and I did enjoy it.
But my fear is, has too much happened in the first episode, has it gone too far too soon 🤷‍♂️

I loved Spiral too, was really hooked on it.
In terms of British shows, hard to beat Happy Valley.

Watched and can recommend the John Candy documentary I Like Me.
Touching contributions by Tom Hanks, Steve Martin and especially Bill Murray.
A thoroughly decent fellow by all accounts

Isn’t she lovely. I never fell in love with a movie character the way I fell in love with Diane Keaton as Annie Hall.
Charm personified, always wanted to meet a girl like her.
RIP 💔

Oh Sinners, why did you???
The set up, the first half was sooo good, note perfect, intriguing, the possibilities seemed endless.

Once went to a restaurant in Paris with only 3 tables in a living room.
Now beaten by this little gem in Hamilton.
Funky interior, 2 (two) tables only!, really friendly staff and food a taste sensation.

Partially filmed in my home town Strathaven (Stra’ven) the acting from a very strong cast lifts Coldwater a good few notches above your routine psycho next door drama

The sheer utter majesty of David Bowie’s Low.
Absolutely breathtaking genius.

Just watched Hallow Road.
One of those one off films with a really unique set up and very tensely played.
Good, but not completely sure about the ending tbh.

Hugh Cornwell’s Mr De Mille is my favourite podcast. Hugh takes us on a relaxed journey through some great stories behind classic Hollywood movies and plays music from the films discussed.
Latest episode on cult films is especially recommended

I’m having a great time with Kevin Rowland’s self narrated audiobook, not least for Kev’s idiosyncratic shall we say takes on various regional accents.

Ah. Every Scottish person will remember Glen affectionately. Surprised it was “only” 26 years tbh.
Also hosted STV Scottish Cup Final coverage from something ridiculous like 9 AM on the morning of the match.
RIP

Sadly I agree completely with this summary of where we’re at.
What, who, where is the solution?
