Excellent thread

I love these. Great seeing musicians from around the world, great song, great visuals, but boy o boy, Morrison's voice, gets me to the core.

This case is "no longer seemed to be only about racism, but about the future of media in New Zealand and the potential role of wealthy operators."

Her changes break my heart. In a cabinet of crackpots, she is making a late run for a place as "I did the most damage to our society". A govt of the cruel, by the cruel, for the cruel.

Man oh man, there were some people who really stepped up against a powerful in-house culture. Thank goodness for their integrity and bravery. Hope they thrive in what looks like a pretty toxic culture

Exactly

Thank you. I watched it. Surprisingly enjoyable, if somewhat infuriating that we are continually not allowed what is obviously the best solution. I bike every day and I try to minimise "vehicular cycling" because of the insanity I see. Love seeing old people cycling too. Cycle lanes change lives

What a strange article. It rightly gets the selfish greed of the current govt, but eulogises Bolger for his concern that he might have destroyed the very society that he wanted, and criticises Labour for having policies that might not go far enough. I suppose I should be grateful for small steps

This is it. They are destroying everything all at once in an attempt to make it impossible to unwind. The Overton window shifts and people forget we used to all believe that good health, education and housing should be available to all.

Me too

I hope it bites them in the bum. Pay offers below inflation and removing working conditions in a time of staff shortages. These guys hate the public service cos they never use it (health or Ed). They go private. They don't want a fair society, they want to live in their protected bubble

No you are not wrong. 515 members out of almost 2000 schools. I would like a breakdown of who their members are. Isn't it funny how there are always some who want to break solidarity for their own ends?

Good thread. Thank you

Very interesting. Can't help liking the pharmacist and hating the relentless ideological drive for deregulation that will see the further degradation of our health services as we are sacrificed to corporate greed

Great to hear from Arthur Grimes revisiting the Reserve Bank Act. Thank you

These billionaires continue to stun me with their stupidity, while they think they are the cleverest people on earth. It makes me want to puke that Key gave him fast track to citizenship, no doubt banking on friendly political donations.

Thank you Craig. Sometimes sarcasm is beautiful. I had been really grumpy about this policy, but at least you made me laugh. Keep up the great work

This made me laugh so much. I love this play. Read it at uni and then later had the privilege of seeing Sir Ian McKellen perform it. The reviewer literally waiting for Godot...beautiful.
