It's on Substack, so no, it's not "good work."

Thank you — the background info makes the banner even more beautiful.

Damn, I wish I was there.

What's the building? In addition to the great graphics, I'm extra impressed that it looks like it has functional shops (an occupied building draws more attention than an empty building).

Anyone who's NOT a cop and publicly lied about their boss and said they'd refuse to do what they're told WOULD BE FIRED PRONTO.

I'm 2,000 miles away and only vaguely aware who Kat Abughazaleh is, but if this ad is even 50% accurate she's awesome.

MEOW‼️

The Atlantic used to be pretty good. I used to subscribe. Whole lotta used to be.

I don't know them, but hope to. Obvious good guys, just a typo, and I should've kept my yap shut, sorry.

That's exactly my takeaway. Plucky local business is manned almost entirely by temps. Speaking as a guy who has a bowl of their toffee on the table, it's hard to root for a company like that.

More of this, please.

I like the idea, but not knowing these folks I'm a little skeptical when the listed date is wrong. Friday is the 30th.

> To close the street it costs about $13k if it were a Saturday 9-3.

That's preposterous. The city needs to -1- ensure there's a workable detour for the day, -2- post the detour on signs, and -3- deliver and later pick-up a few concrete roadblocks. **$13,000** for that?

And Chuck Schumer, if we're making a list and checking it twice.

Ouch, "national treasure" seems like a bit of a reach, but the WaPost *does* still deliver good journalism day-to-day, despite management's best efforts to impede.

Saw the headline for this in a (rare) Seattle Times newsbox at a diner this morning, and thought to myself, "This is what the Times considers newsworthy, and this is why I don't subscribe to the Times."

I'd have no interest in anything GWB says unless it's a profound, wide-reaching apology.

Once, I thought he'd be the worst president of my lifetime, but I've never been wronger.

What an excellent plan, let's get it done! Former car-dweller here, and this would've been a godsend.

We're in what I'd calmly call a national emergency. Not sure what's gained by constantly rehashing election results from a year and a half ago and scolding people who didn't vote the way you voted.

Many's the time I waited at that bus and streetcar stop, with the metro and BART lines underneath. Apologies to Seattle, my home and native land, but SF is the most beautiful place I've lived, and I'm lucky to have those memories. You have to be rich to live there now, though...

Lie, lie, take $50,000 in a fast-food bag, lie some more, call for kick-'em-in-the-nuts-level cruelty, lie, lie, also lie, and Tim Walz gives him the benefit of the doubt.
