I have made a new version of my artist portrait! With the help of the colored pencils my aunt gave me, blending colors has never felt this fun, soft, and filled with a huge variety.

Here's something fun! I participated in a Secret Santa over the holidays! I drew @gamesterd.bsky.social's OC Cashile. Due to his story's #fireemblem influence, I drew a #pixelart portrait plus the usual #traditionalart drawing. Then I drew a battle sprite of her after the event due to a FE fixation.

I wanted to practice drawing people in a two-point perspective grid. I decided to draw @errandboyvergel.bsky.social's OC, Princess Redd, for this. I thought "Why not? It'd be fun. I haven't drawn her in a while." I love how cute she turned out.

As of late, I've been experiencing the Mandela effect. I keep thinking that @mirror-samurai.bsky.social has drawn Nino from Fire Emblem in the past. He has not.

How did everyone pick their username or Vtuber name?

I went with naming my artist brand "Dough Hearts" because it mixed my love of sweets and cute, girly things. The latter being represented by hearts. Now, it's also the name of Regina (my mascot)'s signature dessert! You can see it pictured here.

I'm still really satisfied with this piece I made of @larrymoments.bsky.social's Newt during this year's Art Fight. I normally don't draw characters on backgrounds (or many backgrounds at all), so I wanted to take a risk and try it out. I love how the atmosphere turned out.
