Don't be too hard on yourself. (Though the use of the superlative is a major red flag for me).

If you lived in a big enough city, phone books could be used as booster chairs when your grandkids came to visit. #ImThatOld

Thanks for sharing, Katie (and for using the call letters for "the airport in Northern Virginia that's not Dulles" -- wikipedia).

Andrew, curious to know where on Lake Huron you were vacationing? My mother's best friend growing up had a cottage near Pointe au Baril (northwest of Parry Sound). Such a magical, beautiful area!

I really like that framing, Sue. "Keeping the front porch light on..." Now I'm pondering what an appropriate visible action might be to express this concept (other than actually leaving porch lights on, which would be un-Canadian re: environmental impact). Something like #sticksoutforHumnboldt.

Well said, @jbaileyky.bsky.social! Some states have both the means and the inclination to step up to mitigate the harmful effects of federal policy changes. Others, not so much. I'm thankful for organizations like @kypolicy.bsky.social that are always at the frontlines, standing up for the people.

Interesting. (Though, far less “stunning” if y-axis started at zero, as it should). #dataviz
