It is always fascinating to dive into the parent thread on a comment like “Groom of the Stool” and find there is something of actual interesting substance that eventually devolved into such a wonderfully strange statement.

I came here looking for this. I was not disappointed. The fact that my first thought was “I wonder what Ken has to say about this” says it all.
