I’m 73, was drafted during Vietnam, and in my short life I’ve never seen much dignity from our military or for that matter any military. We were all used as pawns.

I actually have always liked Hillary and still do. She just ran a shitty campaign. She seemed to think she was entitled. She lost to Obama bc of her war vote. I wish you well.

I feel bad for this soldier but maybe other soldiers should think about the morality of what’s going on. It’s a volunteer army. My generation had a lot of people who fled to Canada or went to jail rather than serve in Vietnam. They were the true heroes. It was senseless then as it is now.
