There are a few limits like no market board access and a 300k gil cap, but I would say get into it first and if those limits are too bothersome or if you know you like the game, THEN buy it. There is too much on the table for free for a new player to buy the game initially. Have fun and welcome!!

Start with the free trial! There is no subscription so you can pick it up or put it down whenever. The base game and first two expacs are included so saying it's a ton of content is putting it lightly, and if you want to take a break you don't have to worry about canceling a sub and reactivating 1/2

I found out recently that one of my players used chat gpt to generate his character background and it kinda broke my heart that part of the world that we've worked so hard to bring to life was generated by a lifeless machine. I would rather he had handed me a bad background that he wrote himself

It's not even just weather or not her wife wants to grift, it's about safety. If she was public facing how many threats of violence would her and her family receive? They want her to come into the light so they can attack her, simple as that. It's shameful behavior from adults

Reminds me of the now impossible to get achievement in Fable Anniversary. It's a Microsoft Glass exclusive achievement, software that doesn't exist anymore. Thanks MS! At least you can still buy TLC on Steam

It's simple, in Canada we have standards for any public service including online spaces. If the company refuses to comply, namely by not generating csam, non-consensual explicit material and blatant misinformation, they cannot operate here. Online spaces are not a right, they are private platforms

This is my philosophy when playing games, I never force myself to play anything. I'll pick up and put down games on a whim, and the real test is if it grabs me enough to see it through to the end
