Then in 2017 I remade the website once again to the version that is today, with user accounts, better direct linking and upgraded search functionality.

Then in 2015 I rebuild the app into a proper website, although it had some limitations such as not being able to link directly to a vehicle like can be done now.

But making it into a website certainly opened it up to more visitors, and I began seeing an uptick of people using the site.

Originally this started as an android app back in 2014, the designs of which I made when I should have been studying in one university class!

Putting this together was an exercise in learning, and I definitely learned how much I hated making it. As a result I never made an app for Apple phones.

The inspiration for this came from seeing so many photographs of different emergency vehicles in online groups but knowing very little about the vehicles themselves. Now as of today the app holds over 9000 entries thanks to contributions from countless users who have added their knowledge.
