I disagree with the use of the term AI for all of these slightly glorified search engines. LLM are not intelligent in any form, merely statistical guessing machines which frequently make the incorrect guess / association. Being forced upon us as a result of gullible investors seeking recompense.

Probably like every other prediction he’s made for gullible financial investors - absolute bollocks! However, those naive or stupid enough will believe his inane pronouncements , “a fool is easily parted………”

Wonder if they’d be interested in “grid to mag -add” “mag to grid - get rid” , plotting grid references, bearings etc. Still use these occasionally just for the fun of it.

Did contact CWGC some time ago to ask about their understanding of Lichens and Biodeterioration of stonework but unsurprisingly received no response. It’ll cost more in the long run to replace headstones damaged or made unreadable by lichen growth. Steam cleaning is a possible solution?

Would help if they stopped calling it Artificial Intelligence, it’s not intelligent, it’s a statistical guessing machine, which given evidence from numerous of my student’s reports is frequently wrong. However, if you’ve got investors to pay you have to push this nonsense as much as you can.
