The issue was in the swingstates though. The majority of the people who didn‘t vote were in the states where the result was clear from the start.

Also you can technically equip defector, tap it to draw cards, while giving it to someone to push damage
if someone else is the threat (especially if it gains vigilance)

I would honestly replace reckless fireweaver with a different value creature like Humble Defector.
I feel like the red equipment deck doesnt need the chip damage of fireweaver, and defector is one of the best casual red draw engines in the game.

I never understood why it makes people salty to cast cards from their library. Steal decks that steal from their hand or battlefield actually steal ressources, but something like this or Pako just steal cards you have not invested in yet.
