I don't think I have any particular point I'm trying to make, I guess I'm just shouting into the void here. I want to keep going, but I want my work to strike some chord where I want to keep going, and it's just not happening that way.

I've quit in a huff before, tossed projects, and felt good about the immediate relief. I feel it should be bad to do that again, but it's so very easy at this point in my life, and I honestly don't regret what might be wasted time and energy.

Projects are getting way, way too long in the tooth to enjoy. I just want to toss everything in the trash, clear off my work areas, and just simmer in other aspects of my life. I find myself almost preferring to be at work at the moment, because there at least I know I'm actually productive.
