Not social and not the media but I'm here anyway. Just wanna have fun
182. Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- (2023). With the show finally actually airing after two years of random episodes thought I should give it a try and looks like I'll be watching Fate again lol. This was pretty compelling and I'm curious how the full series is going to continue what was here.

181. Tales of Wedding Rings Season 2 (2025). This show is trash and I love it. I hope it gets a third season!

180. Tougen Anki (2025). You know its weird. I quite enjoy the manga for this but I couldn't get into the anime. It was fine but something felt off. Like if I hadn't read the manga I don't think I would have finished this. As it is I doubt I'll watch season 2 which is a shame.

179. A Christmas Story (1983). Probably the only classic Christmas movie I've never seen. Although I feel like I knew most of it through pop culture. A surprisingly funny movie that still holds up.

178. The Bob's Burgers Movie (2022). Finally Disney+ can tell me to stop watching this! Was kinda interesting they were setting this up at the end of season 12 with random background characters tripping. Glad my man Teddy got to be on the big screen!

177. Umamusume: Cinderella Gray 2nd Cour (2025). It was kinda interesting basically getting no focus on previous season's main character and I appreciated that. This world is diverse so giving us other character's perspectives is nice. Unfortunately I didn't care for Tamamo Cross that much though.

176. Banned Book Club (2020). I understand having to alter a lot to protect the real people but it felt very surface level because of that. A great read still but I wanted it to go deeper. Maybe it's because I don't have a lot of knowledge but it felt very generic dictatorship to me.

175. Touring After the Apocalypse (2025). This is the second anime I've seen about two girls travelling a post apocalyptic world on a bike. While I liked Girls Last Tour a lot more this was pretty cute. Gonna miss seeing these two goobers every week.

174. Ranma ½ Season 2 (2025). What is there to say? It's more wacky antics from effectively the master after manga romcoms. Might go read the manga after this honestly but I also don't know if a season 3 happens if its something I could effectively rewatch.

173. Sanda (2025). Man I wish this got one more episode. Such a weird place to end on. Oh well, a great series exploring the extreme of Japan's birthrate issues that includes a dilf Santa and a classroom full of murderers. From the mind of Paru Itagaki lol.

172. Pokemon Legends ZA: Mega Dimensions (2025). Technically not done but the credits did roll lol. It was an interesting spin on what was already an interesting spin on Pokemon gameplay. There was some surprisingly tough battles here (like the Crabominable one) which was nice.

171. Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery (2025). Having watched this trilogy entirely this year I guess I can say this one falls in the middle. Idk if it was more tightly written or I was back to my usual ways but I didn't pick up on any clues that showed the "solution" wasn't the real one.

(also I have now officially completed more "things" this year than last)

170. The Fantastic 4: First Steps (2025). Man two great MCU movies in the same year? Did we go back in time 7 years lol. I like them not having to add some throw away line about the blip or explain why the 50 New York based heroes weren't helping with Galactus so just the time period gives it points

169. Ducks: Two Years in the Oil Sands (2022). For some reason since reading Fun Home I've really enjoyed reading graphic memoirs and I think this one stands up with the tops. Since I doubt it got its name from the ducks that died at a different camp I can only assume the SA she experienced was

168. A Mickey Mouse Christmas Carol (1983). A fun retelling of the classic.
December 7, 2025 at 6:33 PM
Maybe next year I should just focus on Ariana Grande lol
December 3, 2025 at 2:47 PM
167. Blooming Love (2023-2025). A cute little romcom. Very enjoyable but also knew when it was time to go and didn't overstay its welcome. Honestly a huge positive in that genre.
December 1, 2025 at 4:28 PM
166. Zootopia (2016). This initially came out when I was too cool to watch Disney anymore and I never got around to it. Kinda regretting that as this was pretty good. I did like how there was like 3 times it seemed like it was about to end then a twist happened. Rare for those to be good in Disney.
December 1, 2025 at 2:12 AM
165. Solar Power (2021). Honestly I understand now why so many people were wary on Virgin. There's only like two songs on here I actually like. Weirdly I can't even say what I dislike about most of it. It just feels off.
November 27, 2025 at 3:47 PM
164. Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (2000). I kinda wish they'd try the power fusing mechanic again. It felt kinda under baked here but really had potential. Although I also cheesed a lot of the game with the flame sword and drill lol. Was also interesting how many cut scenes this had for Nintendo.
November 27, 2025 at 3:24 AM
164. Kirby's Dreamland 3 (1997). Honestly kinda boring even after taking a break. For some reason this one really felt like it showed its age. Maybe its because it feels like a downgrade from Superstar. Oh well.
