It's aight, comes with the land honestly. But god was this the most exhausting shoot I've had overall

Our field producer was livid, I didn't see it but apparently she went off on the director for how they was acting the whole shoot (they had me and other crew members direct scenes for them). Overall, everyone left that day wet, angry, and exhausted. Hope tomorrow's shoot goes better 🙏

By the time we get to the building to return the equipment, the director leaves the entire team there to go get lunch cuz they were hungry, we take all the equipment up to the 6th floor and clean all the mud and water that unfortunately got into the equipment

We finally managed to get a rain protector for the camera and somehow finished on time, tho it was extremely rushed by the end...

So we're stuck under a tree standing like penguins trying to not get the equipment wet for like two hours trying to contact production telling them we can't shoot under these conditions, production essentially told us to suck it up and think of something else

We start shooting her scenes and suddenly it starts raining, continuity be damned we keep rolling. Suddenly rain becomes a fucking storm, we have to stop shooting cuz the director didn't request a camera protector knowing full well today was 90% rain

Then one of the actors gets on set 40 minutes late, we had some shots that didn't include her but that really stressed us out. When she finally got there we still had to wait cuz make-up was a little delayed too

OK so first of all the director didn't communicate with anyone on the team at all for the entire pre-production process. They kept trying to do everything themselves because they didn't trust the team to do their jobs apparently

Assistant Director 😭 gonna take 120% but we can do that 😤
