Finally, a little PSA: the game will be on sale starting next week as part of Czech & Slovak Games Week on Steam.

And last but not least, it features an amazing soundtrack (also available on Spotify), full of proper cyberpunk tunes, including an original Blade-Runner-inspired take on Strauss's Blue Danube Waltz.

And of course, it's a card game, inspired by our love for games like Magic, Netrunner, and of course Slay the Spire. We wanted it to be a card game for people who don't usually play card games, with clear synergies and rewarding feedback loops.

The game's voiced by 14 incredible actors, who helped us bring our wonderfully weird cast of characters to life in ways we could only imagine.

To ground its world in something we know intimately, the game is set in a fictionalized, futuristic version of our hometown, Bratislava, featuring our own cyberpunk reinterpretations of many cool local landmarks of modern architecture.

It's also a proper heist story, inspired by our deep love for the genre, which began when we watched Ocean's Eleven on repeat as teenagers. Whatever you know and love about heist stories, you’ll probably find it somewhere in the game.

HeistGeist is, first and foremost, a deeply personal story about bouncing back after hitting rock bottom and finding the strength to pull through with the help of friends and loved ones. It’s set against the backdrop of our own take on cyberpunk (more on that later).
