I am sure LA Mayor Karen Bass's budget cuts to LAFD, despite the Fire Chief's warnings, had no effect.

MAGA is too stupid to realize that this isn't the "own" they think it is. When you say America on its own, it refers to the land mass of the Americas - North, Central, and South, which includes both the United States AND Mexico.
This is a distraction from the fact they have no actual policies.

If by "destroy their own state," she means safer cities, providing healthcare, a stronger tourism economy, better education, and sanctuary for immigrants, then I welcome that. What will all those red states that rely on funding from blue states do when they are no longer around to support them?
