Yep me & a friend are getting masters & diplomas in Design instead so we can still do creative work & build skills while we wait for the industry to recover from its death spiral

I'd say within demographics that like animation it's actually getting more popular (spiderverse, arcane, etc) but within general audiences they don't seem to pay attention art direction at all, but idk
