It's just such an incredible song it brings me to near tears every damn time I listen to it. I think it might be one of, if not THE BEST song of all time. Genuinely brilliant.

I think a lot about that one video of a trans woman in gamestop getting upset at a man very clearly and purposefully misgendering her. I remember watching charlie's video about it and one quote sticks out to me a lot. Paraphrased "For a lady, she's acting a lot like a man"

so much discourse that year was just blatant bigotry and it's made me think a lot differently about youtubers like Scarce or penguinz0 after reflecting on it. Bigotry is just so easily accepted by people when the person we're being bigoted to are "deserving"

I've been thinking about this for the past year now, it bothers me so much. It was so obviously something that SHOULD HAVE been resolved privately, but it had to be made this public spectacle instead. Just weird and gross

I think we're the first media to mature as a capitalist industry before we matured as a creative art form - just behind cinema, but cinema had a few decades before Hollywood took hold and maintains some semblence of an artistic indie field.

I think we're the first media to mature as a capitalist industry before we matured as a creative art form - just behind cinema, but cinema had a few decades before Hollywood took hold and maintains some semblence of an artistic indie field.

I'm not exactly a firm hater or lover of The Last Jedi. I think it has really great moments and I think it has really bad ones. I like what it was going for and can appreciate a lot of the decisions that Rian Johnson made but stuff like Finn's arc in the story could've been handled a little better
