After a night reminiscent of the Friends episode with Phoebe and the smoke alarm... finally I FOUND THE BEEP!!! It was coming from the basement, one of my fiber lines has a UPS and it finally realized that after 15 years the battery was toast... this was driving me batshit crazy...

Might have found a bug in the bluesky android app when you use the edit/rotate-90-degrees button. At least for me, it looks like it cropped most of it. The original:

The free gift would be pretty damn useless for the recipient who is, forever has been, and will forever be "mentally 25 years old" and still rides a sports bike (motorcycle) as his only vehicle (well ok, he owns another vehicle... a second sports bike).

Four three-ring binders for software products for the TRS-80 computer. These were one of the ways software was distributed "in the before times" and designed to be stored on a bookshelf, the binder contained the user manual, and one or more floppy disks containing the software itself. A closer look at one of the binders, showing printed pages (the user manual), and plastic inserts that contained 5 1/4" floppy disks.

First time buying a dog jacket, and Lady let me [somewhat] take measurements... attempt #1: it seems to fit, and she doesn't seem to mind it. Seems short tho (but seems to be by design, based on product images & reviews). May look for storing better but it's a start...
A big muscular, absolutely lovable dog wearing her first jacket. She's standing in the middle of the room staring at the floor... "Umm, what's going on? What is on me?" The dog has been wearing it for about 15 minutes, and just came in from being outside. She's laid down in her usual spot on the couch, still wearing the jacket, and seems relaxed and comfortable.

@nedpyle.com, I may have accidentally found the way to keep the back cushions intact... just remove them! 🙃

"accidentally" because that wasn't the goal, it was just the only way both of us can lay on the couch, plus an ottoman as an extension, for emergencies...

Good news: Last night, I found where I had put her onesie, so she can have the cone off! (Minor surgery recently to remove a cyst)
"Lady" is a large dog wearing a one-piece surgical recovery outfit, to keep her from picking or chewing the spot where she recently had minor surgery. Lady is cleaning her front paws for the first time in over a week. The dog is laying on the couch, and now that there isn't a cone around her head, she's relaxed and enjoying the rest that her face can touch something again. One should note she's also positioned herself to occupy "the human's" spot on the couch to express her displeasure at the injustices of the past week.
