If I make an art piece without thinking about t/b dynamic but it feels one way or the other to ppl was I responsible for guessing what other people would think and label accordingly even tho I had no opinion on the matter? I say no.

Well, we’re all different. So we all have our own difficulties or annoyances navigating spaces, which can’t cater to everyone at once. After all if someone’s preference is avoiding the characterization bending that often comes from fixed t/b thats kinda tough too.

Why can’t we have the dynamic usually associated with one order applied to the reality of the other? It doesn’t have to be rigid like that. And maybe it’s rigid to you! That’s 100% fine, please enjoy yourself to the fullest. Maybe that makes sfw spaces harder to navigate.

I don’t usually interact with nsfw unless I’m really into a ship, so if t/b is an instrinsic part of everyone’s conception of a ship do I just not count until I consider that aspect of their relationship? No way. And what if I think about it and prefer switch?

I won’t say it’s the same for everyone but I will say that sometimes t/b has zero impact on someone’s characterization or enjoyment of a ship, however it seems to you, and you need to recognize that reality too

It’s like this- Nagi has very little faith in his value as a person. He says to Reo “you’re weird for putting up with me”. So it’s only natural that “when someone is interested in me it’s bc I smell so good to them and nothing else..”

I think the thing is that Reo will self sacrifice out of obligation but Nagi will self sacrifice because he doesn’t even see value in the self that he’s sacrificing.

Meanwhile Reo “gets everything he wants” and when Nagi first leaves he wants to smother him- until he realizes what that emotion is and drags himself down to despair. Therefore —> wants to consume.

On the other hand in terms of being the one consuming he doesn’t strike me as one to want to do that. He wants to be wanted after being deprived of affection his whole life. So -> wants to be eaten.

he’d just have a guilt complex over it. And I do enjoy a Reo that hates his own wild impulses and emotions and emotional turmoil…meanwhile Nagi has a very low sense of self preservation in the first place so being chill with the idea of being consumed feels more real to me

I tend to see more nagi eating reo stuff than reo eating nagi stuff but I just think that either way nagi would be more ok with the concept in a way while Reo would be more horrified. And Reo would never want to be eaten. But Reo could want to consume Nagi in a way-
