Looked up the lyrics out of curiosity.

Curse you, onion ninjas 😭

Didn't know this was a thing, so I looked it up for more information. It seems even the History Channel doesn't know The Pear of Anguish's use as this, even though it confirmed that it is an orifice-widening device. Amazing nugget of info!

As a first-generation (born in the US but parents moved here from outside the US), I worry about this being what they actually mean.

"Didn't want to have to think about his responsibilities at home and that I was among them"? Not even wanting to hear her voice over the phone for a few minutes, when they're supposedly partners?

Girl, he's showing you he's not into you.

Exactly!

I've been sickly since I was young -- getting sick at least 1-2 times per month, sometimes more or less.

After COVID, wearing masks changed my life. I still get sick, but not as often after being out and about. Masks are freaking great for someone like me!

I am undiagnosed, but having obsessively researched the subject after eureka moments of relatability to women with autism, it started to feel like an explanation of my life experiences.

That realization makes me eagerly await getting a diagnosis for confirmation. For validation.

(2/2) My grandmother was with me at the public bus stop. We're just minding ourselves.

Then some adult man comes up and hits on me RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. He even has the audacity to ask her for my hand in marriage.

Gran followed me halfway to school that day because of that guy.

I was 12.

(1/2) Growing up, I had this large, light-blue puffer jacket that would go down to my knees (I'm short, even as an adult now). Can't see jack but my baggy-jeaned legs, so I was like -- at least felt like -- a blob while wearing it.

I wore it one morning on the way to school.

Same! I usually have slippers I wear just for inside and keep shoe use for outside. It's how I grew up, and it's become habit at this point. Extra points for not having clean outside dirt that gets tracked in!

I can tell you that Asians generally tend to have that rule in their homes. My non-Asian friends have been more loose about such a rule.

Source: I am Asian American and have seen the same rule in extended family's and Asian American friends' households.

Keep sniffing those sharpies, orange man. *eyeing that Sudden Sniffing Death Syndrome possibility*

Sounds like it was more than just an abortion issue with this couple; he was violent to begin with, and she feared for her life because of it. However, it was also that fear that prevented her from leaving.

Poor lady... I'm very sad for her and the children she left behind (she had two others).

Or alternatively the implant. I know someone on it who has no periods.

I'm on the implant but not as lucky as my friend -- mine ended up longer and more unpredictable than normal, but at least the accompanying menstrual pains are more bearable.

Hey, go into your cat-lady-era male equivalent, guy. I don't think you'll hear any complaints.

Lemon8, the other Chinese app people have been flocking to, is ByteDance-connected. RedNote is owned by someone else. But like you said, it still may result in the same scenario.

I discovered a brand of pads in the past year that partially ends up welding to the inner lips, though it's not supposed to. It just happens after having them on for a while. Happened even with the night-time variant. Never again!

I was ten when I left my window blinds open during the day when going to take a nap.

The next day, I noticed a note outside my window. My mom went to take it and read it. It was an invite into my neighbor's camper. We called the police on him, and I learned real fast to keep my blinds shut all day.

I watched Grave of the Fireflies twice, BUT... I cried so hard both times that I had to pause for the longest time before I could continue.

My own polycule doesn't necessarily make a lot of use of charts and spreadsheets, but we do use the heck out of calendars. We also communicate a ton in order to coordinate, both online and offline.

I imagined myself crouching on a couch and saying, "Oh, no, I'm a vagina now!"

It's stupid, but it actually made me laugh.

Doesn't make me think very highly of that poster, but I'll take my fun where I can.

Makes me want to cheer for the 4B movement even more than before.

I'm happy I'm not paying very much attention to TGA this year. I don't want to add more games to my wish list right now. I have a large enough backlog as it is!
