This is just a quick post to celebrate with you all the second birthday of dotAGE! It has already been two years since release!

Version 1.8 (now on experimental) adds a new Boon choice step, at the start of each village!
This spices up early game, trying to make each village more unique from the start! New boons favour fishing, harvesting, and making many Pips!

Ok I've been revising other parts of the Agepedia, I'm moving all Elder details to separate areas as the new elders had a LONG list of stuff!

Let's delve into cool stuff from the new Folkways DLC! Dad is one of the new elders, and he has one cool caveat: he can *work* like a bonus Pip! He also has a special icon in the UI where you can see whether he's busy or not!

I found some design notes for dotAGE going back to 2014, did you know that "Good Events" appeared only in 2020? That's 6 years since I started working on the game!

I could write a book with all the different iterations of the event system 👁️
