Using an AI agent is just vibe coding in a walled garden.

I had some great conversations after my talk at Entwickler Summit 2025 in Berlin this year, and a common theme was the double-edged sword of AI coding assistants.

If you're thinking about how to strategically use AI in your development workflow, you might find it useful.

finally shipped xaibo! 🚀
the AI agent framework I talked about at ML Con San Diego. built for radical transparency - you can see EVERYTHING your agent is doing. no more black boxes
truly modular too. swap any component, modify whatever you want

It was a pleasure sharing my experience with the audience and then discussing even more details about it with all the people that came up to me afterwards.
Keynote am Nachmittag:

Welp, I did go down the rabbit hole because the stiction issue came up again.

I've ordered a black snooker ball to replace the original elecom red trackball.

But it didn't track at all. It had a gorgeous mirror finish.

Had to destroy the finish with 3000 grit sandpaper to make it work

Recently my trusty Trackball (Elecom Huge) become kind of sticky feeling. It used to be easy to move it just a tiny bit, even a pixel at a time.

Scoured the internet for suggestions. A cheap and easy thing to do seemed to change the, now 5 year old, ruby bearings to zirconium dioxide. Didn't help.

Finally received the Supernote Manta (A5X2). It will be replacing my trusty old Supernote A5 that I've got 5 years ago. It served me well for thousands of hand written pages.

It is an expensive device, but the write feel is just like on paper. On the manta even more so.

Got all excited about the 5090, but then saw the fine print:
> FP8 on 40 Series, FP4 on 50 Series.

I suppose, I'll wait for someone more honest to run benchmarks before deciding whether it is really worth it.

Really excited to see The Virtual Brain (TVB) using Xircuits for brain simulation workflows! From automating simple tasks to powering AI agents, and now neuroscience research - it's inspiring to see our open source tool helping such diverse communities. 🧠
🚀 Xircuits is advancing neuroscience! 🧠 The Virtual Brain (TVB) team uses Xircuits to visually build complex brain simulations, streamlining research on the EBRAINS platform. Open source collaboration at its best! ✨ Read more: www.codemart.ro/codemart/zwe...
