My husband knows I have trouble sleeping (both falling + staying asleep), so he'll always try his best not to wake me. Every morning, without fail, he'll ask me how I slept. If I didn't sleep well, he'll get a little nervous, wondering if it was because of him. You can hear it in the way he asks.
