I hope everybody is safe! I coincidentally just started reading Eruption by Crichton and Patterson, based on Mauna Loa’s 2016 eruption; they write about Kīlauea as well. Could not imagine what being at the mercy of multiple volcanoes must be like.

I bought this book about a year ago at a thrift store, along with his other book Next. I also have that one on my pending list for the future, but I wanted to finish Rising Sun before starting another book I am so excited to get into this weekend.
