Everyone on here is like "why the FUCK would you stay on Twitter" but you know...it's actually very easy to find Black and brown people there just chillin. Here is very white in the same way Tumblr is 🙁 but I really don't wanna have the "X" icon on my phone, so...I'll achieve balance thru change.

It's surprising it even lasted three years without updating...like it was obviously not going to stay functional forever, but I really had everything the way I wanted it...

The thing about Twitter is that it's tolerable when you block the fascists and make the ads show up in languages you don't understand. I like being able to see cultures from around the world sincerepost. And seeing cool pictures with text and context I don't understand.

Well...yes. Not only that, they would be hyper aware of the ones not jumping and trying their damndest to get them to jump too.
Considering this pattern happened w/ pre-insustrial pandemics, I'm guessing this is partially human nature.

Can't remember the last time I played in a pool or an ocean, but I dunk myself in the internet's waters everyday.
Could the internet fund a fun day at the beach?
Perhaps.
But if it's not from a place of good will, the smoothness of cash, I can't say I'd want that sort of thing.
