Yes, Philippe Vidal worked as a storyboard artist on The Wacky World of Tex Avery.

This is not even a joke, the great late Belfort & Lupin director worked on one of the most hated cartoons of the 90s.

I was busy documenting the animation studios that worked on each episode, and I stumbled to this.

Episodes 34 and 36 have an interesting case of how they handled what studios did the animation. Both are directed by David Degrande and credited both Hong Ying and Han Yang. I have a feeling that these two were used simultaneously in one segment for the purpose of retakes, hence style changes.

Is that unknown studio Kuk-Dong? I know that Marvel used them for the original MLP cartoon.

I can confirm that Fly Like a Beagle was indeed animated by Hong Ying. I know this because the credits for episode 22 were unedited. They feature different production services credits. Episode 22 had production services by Story while episode 54 had production services by Milímetros.

So let me guess judging by what this schedule suggests, before we get our final episodes of season 3, we get alternative versions of the episodes aired on TV starting with Silly Samuel.

I wonder if it’s related to The Cool Autistic Gamer 774 in a way…

Happy I have the real ones.

Did you know that the chad Ivan Tankushev of Arthur and Family Guy fame and the great late Philippe Vidal of Garfield and Belfort & Lupin fame worked together at one point? They worked together on the French animated series Fennec! It’s also animated by Hanho and an obscure Vietnamese Pixi Box.

A bit of an update regarding the animation studios used on My Little Pony 'n Friends. TV Tropes list Burbank Films Australia as among the studios that animated MLP G1. I didn’t know they existed, I thought that the show was animated exclusively in Korea aside from two specials and one episode.

Disney+ wants to have users create AI generated short form videos.

No! That’s gonna pander to laziness! Need to work on Disney properties with artistic merit, F.R. Animation has you covered! We have 101 Dalmatians, Aristocats and Chicken Little non-AI content in the works.

Otherwise, the work of the storyboard artists, episode directors and animation directors aren’t identified for this show yet, though this is expected of Sunbow, who doesn’t credited its staff properly on their episodes aside from the writers. I haven’t found much aside from some cels from AKOM.

Unfortunately, Bowman didn’t learn from his mistakes, as when he was hired to direct the animation on some episodes of MLP Tales, like with what I presumed Shop Talk, there was a shot where Lancer would go off model out of nowhere with, this expression. It’s no pony at all, what even is that?!
November 14, 2025 at 5:39 AM
My Little Pony Tales also credits its writers properly but not the rest of its staff. The entire show was animated by AKOM, one of four studios that animated the original show, with episode directors Seung-Jin Oh, Kyung-Chook Sah, Young-Wook Yeo, Nak-Jong Kim, Young-Soo Lee and Heung-Sun Oh.

Somehow, Raymond Scott’s Powerhouse got marked as “made for kids” on YouTube.

I’m not even sure why lol!

Well, so far every episode of Haha, You Clowns looks to be written by Joe Cappa and directed by Nick Bertonazzi Jr., but Dave Cappa has been co-writing since the second episode. Are there episodes that Dave wrote himself? I know that Joe wrote Movie Night himself. Did Bertonazzi direct all episodes?

Hey AI bros, your screwed in India, Italy, China, the EU, Brazil and California, because they passed laws to restrict the use of AI so that no one’s jobs get replaced with robots. Some other countries are even proposing such laws, which is always a good thing. You bros should make real art!

In case you didn’t know when I had my Twitter, Balancing Act is an episode of 101 Dalmatian Street I couldn’t stand, I was shocked that something like this was approved for the show, because I know it does better than this. Its director, Jez Hall, blocked me on Twitter after criticizing it a lot.

My Twitter was hacked unfortunately, but hey, at least I moved on from it right? To be fair Twitter became a hellhole of its former self lol!

Plastic World looks to be animated entirely by Xentrix Studios. I had known that something was off with the 2D animation, being animated in flash rather than being hand-drawn by Rough Draft with the previous segments The Last Days of Crisco and Clown Night with the Devil. Look at the 2D credits.

FUN FACT: Charles E. Bastien directed one episode of Seven Little Monsters, but he wasn’t credited. The episode in question being Seven Monsters and a Baby. Apparently Glenn Sylvester was credited in all episodes of the first season but didn’t direct this one, someone on IMDB verified as such.

So, Patrick McCarthy. Currently a storyboard artist on Family Guy, but before that, he was just a fan. Back in 2015, he created a fan animation known as Stewie Potter, a parody of Harry Potter, which currently has over 2.8 million viewers on YouTube. He actually dreamed being a writer on the show.

I stand corrected. Agnes Garbowska is not aware of 101 Dalmatian Street’s existence, despite the designs having that somewhat similar look. Disney wanted Garbowska to have her own art style and make the characters look more childlike and cute. I don’t mind this direction though, I still like it.

How ironic that The Simpsons Movie is getting a sequel after being surpassed by a Demon Slayer movie! Bart really did wait 20 years for another movie, and he’s still forever 10 as a result of the status quo! Eat your heart out, AI! Now what about that Family Guy movie? Is that still coming?
September 29, 2025 at 6:32 PM
Ladies and gentlemen, we have officially reached a W for traditional animation! Ufotable’s Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle has grossed over $605.4 million worldwide, not only for being the highest-grossing Japanese film, but also as the second highest-grossing traditionally animated film ever!

Also, I have images of what could be the same person under different last names. Left is the Linkedln profile picture, and the right is Bao seen in 2012 when he, alongside various other Family Guy crew members saw The Dark Knight Rises in theaters. Noticing anything different outside of the clothes?
