The "British public"? Wales and Scotland haven't voted for a Tory government in any of our lifetimes. Enough English voters were stupid enough to vote for Johnson and Brexit and are on the verge of doing the same with Farage (or worse, if he implodes).

'We keep our promises' she posts. Labour has nothing but a long list of broken promises since it came to power and that list only gets longer.

Where would they do that? With independence Scottish MPs would no longer be at Westminster but would sit in Scottish parliament in Edinburgh. England would be on its own and would be unable to vote on matters affecting Scotland.
