It’s a weird thing, isn’t it? Objectively I guess hoarding anything isn’t great but we intrinsically seem to all collect something like we are really just little squirrels. Neurodivergence really exasperates it. 😓

How to build them and has been making replicas of fancy or noteworthy ones he likes but will never afford. Anyways, I get the appeal now. And I wouldn’t have before. But I also have fallen into an anti-consumer mindset making it hard to want to support it all.

I think the “collector bug” can strike for nearly any consumer good, it’s just on a more expensive scale for these people. Husband is obsessed with vintage watches, and I get how it’s not that dissimilar from my own hobby of collecting 1920s dresses when I was in my 20s. He actually taught himself
