It’s a battle of political leverage. Who can use tariffs, retaliatory tariffs or sanctions to create more political pain for the other leader. Forcing them to capitulate or face undesired consequences.

So, my master plan was to drastically reduce the negative energy I absorb by reducing my news/social media intake. I'm doing it successfully. What am I doing instead? Ah, there's the rub. I'm binge-watching shows like Ozark and Disclaimer, about murder, betrayal... I guess I'm doing this in stages.

For this place to truly be a healthy community, we're gonna need to find a way to block the truly toxic accounts while tolerating or even engaging with the civil but woefully misinformed (subjective) accounts. The rub is that most of us have way too low a bar for what or whom is "toxic".
