Also removes the cost of a screen, controller parts (if not bundled), and small-frame cooling which can either be cheaper, or put into slightly more beefy components.

This is the right call. If you wanna hunt 1/8192 odds only, be my guest. If someone wants to use scarlet/violet’s crazy good methods, all power to them. I’ve gone way way over odds for a 1/200 and it’s still a small story - and it’s about the story to me.

A relatively small subset of the data on the 14TB is actually valuable. That data can likely be backed up even in case of a single drive failure prior to reconstruction. The answer is no, though. My backup situation for the NAS is “hope both drives don’t die simultaneously.”

Pokémon games are linear but at times can split in different directions or require you to finish something before you move on. That’s what is happening here. The dancing people are blocking the player until they do something else somewhere else.
