I love when characters come to life on their own. People who aren't creative don't experience these moments where 'things' and 'ideas' spark a soul of their own. Where do you post your writings?

I also struggle. What helped me was switching mentality on creations is to view my goal as learning or building up a skill. It switches my head from the perspective of "doing things I enjoy only if others can appreciate or benefit from the labor" and back to "Nah, hey this is for my own good." 💚
