Do these congressmen not realize there are some real people watching these hearings?!

Are people waiting for Congress to extend the ACA subsidies before choosing their plans? I don’t see how it is possible for such a vote to get through the House, the Senate, and the Trump veto before the Dec 15 deadline. This would be the process- correct, or no?

@kaine.senate.gov you are giving up all the leverage we had and YOU are taking healthcare away from millions, for a promise of a vote from people who have openly called for repealing ACA for years

I highly recommend the movie, “Inside the Mind of Dogs” ( Netflix). It was nice to get away from the current horrors, and was a lovely remembrance of all my prior family members I have lost and miss.

Seems like Cadbury is missing a marketing opportunity this year.

He orchestrated a coup. It failed.

He was a convicted felon.

He rose to power on a wave of divisive propaganda and hateful anti-immigrant rhetoric.

He promised to make things great again.

He threatened to annex his neighbors.

I'm referring, of course, to Adolf Hitler.

Trump doesn’t have even a shred of class or decorum.

I just watched, “Conclave”, and the ending was wonderful. Another insightful moment was when announcing to all the cardinals her revelation, the head nun at the Vatican explained that she understood sisters are invisible.

I highly recommend the movie, “Searching for Bobby Fischer” if you are looking for a feel good movie with a moral message. It in only a little bit about chess & a lot about goodness and kindness. In a recent post question about great movies with a moral message, no one mentioned it.

1 of 2: Just watched “The Man who Invented Christmas”. While I have read the “ Christmas Carol” and watched it multiple times, what struck me is that a whole world changed because they read a book. I don’t see that happening today with so much online fodder to read.
