I tried different arm positions and angles today. Tomorrow I think I’ll try one of those geometric exercises to try and get the 3D orientation of the torso+arms right.

So today I tried to work out what the muscles that define the shape of an arm are. Though, I’m not sure if I got the muscles in the bottom-left picture right, does anyone know?
I’ll appreciate any feedback.

Tried my luck with arms today. I’ll probably have to look into the underlying muscle anatomy to have a chance at drawing them consistently, in different poses and without a reference image.

My first real attempts at drawing the upper body based on some images from Pinterest. First attempt was top-left, then top-right, then bottom-right and last was bottom left.

My Pinterest home page will now be forever filled with pictures of big muscular men. Not that I’m complaining though 😆

Well, not my first attempt at drawing, but certainly the first one I feel somewhat comfortable sharing X3
I'm not sure about the highlights on the cheek, but it felt incredibly flat without it. Hopefully it's something that will improve with practice.
