A session zero is important. It's not only a chance to go over the vibe of the campaign or one shot. But to make sure the characters and players are a good fit. Yeah you should do some chatting before the session zero but this is important. Making sure everyone is on the same page about the game.

Coffee works wonders. Won't make me give more loot cause I do not do the pay to win kinda game. But it would put me in a happy mood to start things off with. And a happy energized GM might be what they wanted.

Probably "Cool People Who Did Cool Stuff" it's the opposite of my other favorite "Behind the Bastards" each of these focus on a person or group in history for an episode or 6. Though the usual is 2 episodes a topic. Both are fantastic and I highly recommend

I would sometimes set in the SCP universe. Granted there would be a lot of books for it but that's not negative in the market. And the alternate universes! The post apocalypse of cactusverse!

I have made them terrified of getting their loot at the end of a of a boss fight. I have made one of them cry in her intro session. Killed quiet a few cohorts. And I have killed a few PC's but there is magic to get around that. It's when I run their resources down they get worried.

Not a teen anymore and I fully understand now why i was the guard. And it took till my 30s to figure out why i was uncomfortable 🙃

I've always relied on the fact that I'm bigger and apparently mean looking so people avoid me. But I get it now why I was always dragged to the bathroom to stand guard. I didn't get it when I was a teen. But I was invisible then and my friends never explained it.

The sign did nothing go stop the assaults that have already happened. If they are going to attack someone that little sign isn't going to stop them.
