Ehhh i dunno man you ever see that bunnyhop video pointing out how its large cinematic cutscenes are largely the same gameplay inputs as frogger? That game is like a theme park facade tops to tails.

I hope the next arc adding new characters mixes it up. The music, cast and overall themes are great they just need to find a better balance between the parts of the greater whole i think.

I still like the show a lot. Baku interacting with the two cops in particular is a good team dynamic but its just really struggling to follow up Gavv that felt like the first time since Build we had a consistently good 30 episodes in a row. Thats a hard act to follow.

And two: its format is starting to suffer from a variation on the same issue Kiva had. Every other character cant resolve any issue because they need the main character to do it in a different setting. The dream idea is neat but unless more characters join him its feeling increasingly disjointed.

Think about it ten years on and no giant centerpieces, no major story involvement and the stuff in End Times about "high elves that ride flying fish" that never went anywhere? that has always stunk.

Honestly i bet Deepkin and Nighthaunt were originally 9th edition products that never happened.
