That was actually part of my reason to do this in December! I do favorite band features every once in a while, I did LPD in October. I had been thinking I'd want to do Erasure and realized there's no other time I'm very likely to play the two songs from that album that I like!

a good description of teenage me

I don't have the remix or live albums, and only one of the singles. There were a few singles box sets a friend had, but they're pretty expensive these days. And really, some b-sides are good, but I don't care too much for a ton of remixes

Yeah, 12 string basses were a big thing in the 90s. Hell I think even Pearl Jam used one

So very much the same! I got raided into it like a week ago, long after I had gone to sleep. I woke up, and it was RIGHT THERE!

Yeah, I've felt like I need to go back to it. I was also a teenager when it came out.

And, frankly, once you get your head around Inland Empire, the rest of Lynch is a little more clear

it's not my favorite Lynch, but it's definitely worth a watch.

at the time it sort of felt like David Lynch trying to make a David Lynch film, if that makes sense.

But, still, Barry Adamson on the soundtrack, can't go wrong

thank you very much! it's a favorite song of mine to play, getting as Unseelie with it as possible!

I think I'm opting for the original version on that song though, just because of the way that chorus hits

maybe that's why they've been pushing generative AI so hard when no one seems to want it. normalize the deepfakes so you can bury the real
