The Atlas FM H16-44 recently gave me lots of headaches. Seems the decoder board is defective. I’m unable to acquire spares over here in Germany and shipping costs from the US are a nightmare…

DCC-fitting the model did nearly break me: Motor, axles and cables all came apart while I opened the thing. Took me ages to reassemble the thing after chipping had been done. I ended up supergluing the motor to the chassis to keep motor and axles in place.
